THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a dynamic insurance broker who can hit the ground running with our team. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients in conjunction with the senior insurance brokers. You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused, efficient, and cost-effective management of clients’ insurance needs. 

 Duties include:

  • Providing high quality customer service in dealing with clients, insurers and funders on a daily basis to get the best outcomes for your clients
  • Facilitate all client servicing activities whilst maintaining a strong relationship with key stakeholders both internal and external
  • Assisting the senior brokers daily with queries, new business, renewal submission and reports
  • Reviewing all policy terms and conditions, ensuring all documents are up-to-date
  • Lodging, following up and finalising claims, including updating clients throughout the process
  • Attending client meetings with the senior insurance brokers;
  • Updating monthly reporting requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Minimum of two to three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Insurance Diploma or Tier 1 qualified is preferred, however a willingness to undertake appropriate study whilst working will be considered
  • A strong sense of accountability with the ability to work autonomously and follow through on tasks
  • Demonstrated ability working as part of a team and work across portfolios where required to ensure team success
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Good initiative and attitude with a strong desire to learn and achieve company’s goals
  • Strong organisational and time management capability
  • A sound level of attention to detail.
