The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has come up within our ANZO claims procurement team for a commercially astute and dynamic SRM/Sourcing Manager. Reporting to the Head of Claims Procurement, the role will initially focus on driving the development and implementation of QBE’s supplier relationship management (SRM) framework across the claims supply chain, with principal focus on supporting SRM across motor claims supply chain. Additionally, there will be opportunity to lead and support procurement projects across the claims supply chain.

Key responsibilities

  • Help embed and drive QBE’s SRM framework across all claims supply chains, with particular focus and responsibility within the motor claims supply chain, working with procurement operations and key cross-functional teams
  • Lead and support various procurement projects (e.g. sourcing) across the claims supply chain
  • Ensure QBE’s contract and commercial interests are represented in governance forums with suppliers to ensure all terms and conditions/SLAs are met
  • Support management of supplier risk and compliance obligations, together with driving continuous improvement and innovation through the claims supply chain
  • Working closely with claims and key stakeholders to deliver commercial value and positive customer experience.

What does success look like? 

  • Broad knowledge of supplier relationship management
  • General procurement capability including sourcing, contract/commercial management and business case development/presentation
  • Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Track record of project/change management skills within a face-paced environment
  • Ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders.
