Reporting to the Property Technical Services and Compliance Manager, you will handle all aspects of processing business with responsibility for ensuring system entry is accurate, timely and in alignment with company procedures and guidelines including meeting production targets. You will also provide support to a team of Underwriters and participate in preparing and producing policy documentation in relation to renewal invitations, policy tax invoices and other documentation and preparing claims experiences as required and in accordance with service standards.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of premium closings and all statutory charges
  • Preparation of and processing policy premiums and charges
  • Assist with production estimates and maintain monthly booking register in conjunction with the administration team
  • Generation of all associated transaction documentation as per procedures and guidelines (renewal/interim certificates, endorsements, reinsurance tax invoices)
  • Participate in peer reviews as required
  • Participation in preparation of ARPC reporting requirements as required
  • General administrative duties as directed by Technical Services Administrator Head Office
  • Work closely with and assisting finance and claims teams relating to late travelling premium, unallocated cash an general accounts queries to ensure reconciliation, investigation and remediation where required
  • Preparation of renewal letter runs
  • Provide administrative support to underwriters as required
  • Prepare claims experiences as required
  • Assist with end of month reporting as required
  • Assist with general office duties as required by profit centre management.

What we are looking for

  • Solid administration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel  (functions and pivot tables an advantage)
  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook and Word
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of data
  • Sound command of mathematics/numbers.
