Assistant Broker, General Insurance - Part-time or full-time

Our client, an innovative and growing brokerage, is seeking an experienced Assistant Broker to join their friendly team either on a full-time or part-time basis. 

You will enjoy supporting a team of experienced senior brokers with their policy administration and general day-to-day client servicing, as well as assisting the Director with the back-office operations. You will be responsible for preparing slips, drafting renewal reports, administering policy documentation, obtaining online and open market quotes, following up clients and insurers, collating renewal information, invoicing and supporting with the back office operations, particularly with Winbeat reporting and training. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of the growth and success of this growing and professional insurance brokerage. The successful candidate will be given the option to work either full-time or part-time hours however you will need to be able to commit to a minimum of approximately 20 – 30 hours a week from their office located in the eastern suburbs. Over time there may be scope to work from home on occasion.

To be successful in securing this rare opportunity you will be self-motivated with initiative, organised, reliable, team-oriented individual, exceptional attention to detail, a positive and hard-working approach and client service oriented with well-developed communication skills. A minimum of 2 years’ general insurance broking experience and intermediate to advanced Winbeat knowledge is essential. Tier 1 qualifications are not essential however will be highly regarded.
