CoreLogic is the leading provider of property information and data analytics across Australia and New Zealand. We are now seeking a passionate Senior Product Manager to join our team.

The Senior Product Manager – Insurance is responsible for the profit and loss statement for the insurance products (Cordell Sum Sure, Cordell Commercial Estimator across Australia and New Zealand) within all segments, through owning the product strategy, mission and goals, deciding the channel and geographic distribution strategies to compliment the strengths and limitations of the product, and managing pricing and discounting policies for the Australian and New Zealand market.

What’s involved? 

  • Own the product vision, product P/L, performance and product roadmap
  • Work closely with the technology stream to agree on dependencies, priorities and capabilities
  • Own and drive the product strategy, product mission and goals
  • Manage acquisition and retention strategies, marketing plan, and tune product marketing                                                                                                       
  • Ensure broad engagement with a wide range of cross functional staff to meet the end to end goals of your product, through influence of colleagues outside the direct product team
  • Manage launch plan/general thought leadership/generate leads for products/client referrals and testimonials
  • Accountable for all go to market processes and ensure products are sales-ready
  • Define sales process for sales enablement and channel training
  • Define processes for Product support, activations, billing, CRM and customer support.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and an ability to moderate between technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to influence cross functions at mid and senior levels
  • Works on a hands-on capacity with the product team to translate high level goals in a matrix and flat organisation structure
  • Understand principles of value based pricing; articulate customer use cases and pricing propositions in complex B2B enterprise scenarios including data governance and usage policies
  • Ability to articulate ROI for the insurance products and assist sales teams and build other sales enablement tools to scale out the sales function
  • High level strategic thinking and ability to anticipate and align with customer requirements
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies including customer interviews, hypothesis-driven planning, measurement and evidence-led product design
  • Ability to facilitate innovation and creativity across diverse groups
  • Strong people and relationship building skills
  • Very organised and systematic in approach; ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder demands.

What’s required?

  • Experience in product management at a senior level 
  • Experience with data or software products
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, the technology sector
  • Knowledge or experience in agile/lean development methodology

Other details:

  • Be able to travel to New Zealand as required
