About the new Community Broker Network:

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, the Compliance Consultant, VIC will play a key role in helping to drive CBN’s strategic and governance objectives. This role will work to positively to engage and influence stakeholders to deliver improved compliance standards across out network.

Job responsibilities:

  • Carry out on-site audits and desktop audits of authorised brokers in our network to ensure compliance to relevant standards
  • Develop, review and update CBN’s compliance policies and procedures ensuring ongoing compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and standards
  • Provide written and verbal reports of audit outcomes
  • Ensure risk failure/breach register is updated and filed 
  • Report risk failures/breaches
  • Make recommendations of changes to procedures or practices based on audits
  • Create a culture of best practice governance and compliance through education, training and audit activities to improve process efficiency and to ensure customer-centric business outcomes
  • Work with the Head of Risk and Compliance to design and implement the Compliance schedule.
