Account Executive - Insurance Broker

About the business and the role

Account Executive - Insurance Broker

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established and growing firm on the Central Coast of NSW as an account executive servicing existing customers.

This role is perfect for an account assistant looking for the next step in their career, an account executive looking to work closer to home, or a return to work parent looking to return to insurance broking.

This new position will primarily work with small and medium-sized business owners, advising on a range of insurance options including business insurance, management liability, cyber risks, transport insurance, farm insurance and their personal (home and motor) insurance.

As this is an active advising role, prior experience as a broker or a broker’s assistant is crucial to this role, along with at least a tier 1 insurance broking qualification.

The role will be office-based and is to help the established service team to service the existing customer portfolio. This will include renewals, endorsements, claims and general servicing.

You won't be expected to cold call, source new leads or write new business. We have a separate team for new business enquiries.

As the role is primarily office based and not a face-to-face role, it is essential to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
