Service Manager - Consumer Property

Supervises the day-to-day activities of the assigned claims unit and provides advice to team on claims management, policy guidelines and quality.

The opportunity:

Our aspiration is to provide a world-class claims service by seeking out the best way to help our customers during their time of need, whether it’s having their home burgled or suffering a catastrophic loss to their property. The start of this journey is to build Australia’s most respected property claims team and to do this we recognise that we must invest in our people.

As part of this plan we are currently going through strategic recruitment to find Service Managers who will be strong leaders and supportive mentors for our new property teams at our Newcastle office, these teams of which will commence employment in the new year.

We are looking for confident and capable professionals, who pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences at every point of contact as well as to provide high quality coaching and mentoring of their staff. We require self-motivated individuals who consistently deliver these levels of excellence through times of change and show resilience in the face of a challenge. 

You will possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of the property insurance industry, claims processes and systems
  • Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience
  • Resilience in dealing with and helping team members deal with complex property insurance claims
  • Be able to effectively coach, mentor and develop team members
