QBE wants you in our actuarial team!  We currently have an exceptional Sydney CBD based opportunity available for an Actuarial Analyst to join our growing Actuarial team. You will be joining QBE during an exciting period of our evolution. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a dynamic personal lines role with exposure to the full control cycle of actuarial responsibilities. 

You will be responsible for the following:  

  • Assisting with personal lines pricing reviews
  • Involvement in the reserving of various classes
  • Developing analytics, performance monitoring and analysing emerging experience
  • Working closely with a range of internal business stakeholders

Your knowledge, experience and skills:

  • Capable and motivated, with the ability to solve problems
  • A strong academic record
  • Highly effective communication, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and in teams
  • Completion of all Part I and Part II actuarial exams
  • General insurance experience preferred, but not essential
  • Proficiency in SAS and Excel preferred
