Our aspiration is to provide a world class claims service by seeking out the best way to help our customers during their time of need, whether it’s following a  home burglary, or suffering a catastrophic loss to their property. The start of this journey is to build New Zealand’s most respected property claims team, and to do this we recognise that we must invest in our people.

As part of this plan we are currently recruiting a number of Property Claims Officers to work from our Auckland branch. 

We are looking for solutions focused people, who pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer experience at every point of contact. Self-motivated individuals who maintain these levels of excellence through times of change and show resilience in the face of a challenge. 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Experience as a Property Claims Officer, or a background in providing a world class customer service experience and the passion to grow and develop in to a property insurance professional
  • A strong focus on customer service with the ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands
  • A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional
  • A modern approach to improving the business and a willingness to accept change
  • Self-motivated with organisational and communication skills
  • An analytical approach to problem solving and a thoroughness in your exploration and assessment of factors contributing to a claims outcome 

While candidates with experience in managing property claims and dealing with insurance brokers, suppliers and customers are preferred, we will accept applications from all sectors where the role you have been performing with passion is to provide exceptional, world class customer service.
