National Manager Corporate - Workers’ Compensation

Reporting to the General Manager, Underwritten Workers’ Compensation & Distribution, you will be responsible for leading the workers’ compensation sales and distribution strategy, and corporate client service offering, across NSW and Vic markets. With a proven track record in successfully leading large an diverse teams, and delivering both financial success and excellent levels of customer service, you are highly motivated and looking for your next challenge, supported by a strong global brand.

As National Manager Corporate Workers’ Compensation, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide strong people leadership with a focus on a high performance team culture and continuous improvement
  • Lead the workers’ compensation intermediary distribution strategy across NSW and Vic markets
  • Foster and develop strong collaborative relationships with national and global broking firms, and corporate employers
  • Deliver financial targets for NSW and Vic workers’ compensation portfolios, including underwritten, managed fund and self-insurance products

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Solid experience in either workers’ compensation, risk management, OH&S or underwriting
  • High level of understanding of legislative, regulatory environment and scheme design within national jurisdictions
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior communication and marketing skills
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to think strategically with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications. MBA desirable but not essential
