A fantastic opportunity has become available in our Darwin-based workers’ compensation team, leading a high-performing claims team to deliver outstanding service and claims results, within the framework of the NT workers’ compensation legislation. 

The successful candidate will provide leadership to the Allianz Darwin Workers’ Compensation Claims Team, be responsible for portfolio monitoring and reporting and the development and implementation of initiatives to improve performance. You will also work with local and national clients and internal account managers to identify and improve service and claim outcomes. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Solid and proven claims management experience in an insurance environment
  • Demonstrated team leadership ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation
  • Competent in office IT applications such as MS Word and Excel
  • Ideally related tertiary qualifications
  • Superior analysis and problem-solving ability
  • Business planning skills
  • Demonstrated relationship management with clients and service providers
