Account Manager

  • Client-facing opportunity
  • Strong networking opportunity in a different industry
  • Highly regarded account management team

Do you have strong relationships with insurers, brokers and underwriters? Curwoods Lawyers has a ‘different perspective’ – 90% of our client relationships are with Australia’s top insurers and a number of Lloyd’s syndicates.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a pivotal role in the business, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the client relationship partners, while being supported by an account executive. You will apply your relationship management skills to oversee all account management, business development and cross-selling activities in line with the business’ strategic plan.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the account planning process and executing client business plans
  • Overseeing account operations, including adherence to client service levels and performance metrics
  • Managing pipeline and cross-sell initiatives to increase revenue with current clients and new targets
  • Utilising your knowledge of the insurance market and our clients to assist with client proposals and submissions
  • Attending client and performance meetings, and proactively managing action items

This is no ordinary role – you will be measured on success and the value you deliver to the business, not on sales targets.

ABOUT YOU

You are a driven and energetic professional who is an experienced influencer. You have exceptional business acumen, strong communication skills and acute attention to detail. You possess strong analytical skills, as well as the autonomy and confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. You have the ability to effectively engage, drive results and be commercially astute.
