Client Services Officer

MIGA is a leading national provider of medical indemnity insurance and associated services to the healthcare profession across Australia. Its head office is in Adelaide and it has offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

A new and exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join our client services team. Reporting to the National Manager – Client Services you will be part of a team that is responsible for:

  • Handling various enquiries from existing members
  • Completing detailed file notes of all discussions with members
  • Preparing appropriate correspondence in response to membership/insurance issues and customise standard letters where appropriate
  • Updating and maintaining membership records and database
  • Responding to and dealing with all issues associated with the annual renewal of membership/insurance, including assisting with production of documentation
  • Providing support and assistance with any membership/insurance issues and provide back-up to other staff within the Client Services Department.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven insurance industry experience with a good knowledge and understanding of general insurance products and the insurance market
  • Have demonstrated experience working in a customer service role
  • Ideally have an understanding of and experience within medical indemnity and/or professional indemnity insurance
