Assessment Manager

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated and energetic individual and be an excellent customer service advocate. They will be responsible for making and developing new business relationships, managing a portfolio of existing accounts as well as sourcing and developing new clients across the Adelaide insurance and related sectors.

The successful candidate will be given comprehensive training in estimating and pricing works according to Steamatic and client contractual guidelines. 

A background in one or numerous of the following is required: mechanical engineering, building, estimating, insurance, claims, assessing, sales, restoration, domestic/commercial construction, or facilities management.

A good network/contact list in insurance, building or the loss adjusting space would be advantageous.

  • High level of initiative with the ability to take personal responsibility and drive activities to agreed outcomes
  • Ability to build strong and ongoing business relationships
  • Proven ability to source new clients, engage at all levels and convert leads to business opportunities
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels within the organisation, with customers and colleagues
  • Demonstrated success delivering over and above target
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter and self-motivated
  • Be willing to travel within Australia and internationally as required.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

  • Permanent residency of Australia or Australian citizenship essential
  • A full current driver's licence and valid passport is required
  • Project management skills.
